About Isiala Mbano Association DFW
Isiala Mbano Association DFW is a vibrant, family-oriented community of people from Isiala Mbano Local Government Area in Imo State, Nigeria, now living in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
We exist to preserve our heritage, support one another, and give back—both in North Texas and in our beloved homeland.
Historically, our people are bound by deep kinship ties, traditional festivals, and a strong work ethic. The New Yam Festival (Ịwa ji/Iri ji), colorful masquerades, and lively markets are central to our identity.
Our communities are known for craftsmanship, entrepreneurship, hospitality, and Christian faith—values that have traveled with us into the diaspora.
